Technical Issues:

For Garmin users, do not save a route in Route 0. Other GPS owners will not be able to read the Route as other GPS's do not recognise Route 0.

Various GPS's allow different number of Waypoints in a Route. To avoid this problem, please do not submit route files.

In Waypoint Properties, options should be set to:

1.  Set to text to 'Size 10 Bold' (we are an aging population)

2.  Set 'Display Format' to 'Comment with Symbol'

3.  Set 'Symbol Size' to 17 (recommended by Des Newman – the software developer)

4.  Choose your own 'Symbol'

5.  Select easy readable colours. Black on Yellow is excellent

6.  Waypoint Files should be sequentially numbered in 'Description'  for easy on screen visual

7.  If 'Attachments' are used, change Symbol at that Waypoint to 'Binoculars' or use 'INFO' to notice

8.  Always set Map Datum for National ETREK Library submissions to WGS84
