TLCV - Membership Information
ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP
On joining the Club the applicant initially becomes an
Associate
Member until completion of
the following:
(a)
Complete Driver Awareness course
(b)
Participate in a working bee at Yarck
(c)
Participate in one other activity (not a General Meeting).
On completion of these obligations and after expiration of
6 months
from the date of joining the
Club, the Associate Member automatically becomes a full Member.
Upon achieving full membership, the Member is entitled to
make application for a key to the Yarck property.
CHILDREN
Children less than age 18 years of Associate, Full and
Life members
are automatically granted
honorary membership of the Club.
ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS
1. Indemnity Forms
A form of Indemnity must be signed by
prospective member(s) before their application will be accepted by the Executive
Committee.
2. Driver Awareness Completion
New members are required to complete the awareness program
within 6
(six) months of joining the Club.
3. Driver Awareness Booking Deposit
A $50 refundable deposit is required at the time of making a booking to participate in the Driver Awareness program.
This deposit will be forfeited for non attendance.
In exceptional
circumstances this forfeiture may be waived at the discretion of the Executive
Committee.
4. 4WD Activities Restriction
Members are not permitted to drive in 4WD
activities until they have
completed the
awareness program.
5. Driver Awareness Extension
Members can apply to the Awareness sub Committee for an extension of time or for an alternative arrangement to complete the awareness program
or for an exemption from portions of the program.
Reasons for
the request must
accompany the application.
6. Default of Membership
Failure to complete the awareness program within the
stipulated time
or arrangements as
determined by the Awareness sub Committee will
cause the member to be in default and subject to cancellation
of membership.
